Season Recap:
The Indians started the year on a ten game winning streak that included big wins over quality teams like Martino, Mokena, and Jane Addams. They hit a rough patch and lost three straight games to Brooks, Channahon, and Summit Hill. All three were high level teams, but their confidence was rattled a bit. They persevered and fought through to win the next eleven games in a row, and in the process claimed an IVC Tournament Championship and Regional Championship over Channahon. They also defeated Joliet Washington in the Sectional to head down to the state finals tournament where they lost to a tough Edwardsville Liberty squad. Overall, we finished with a 21-4 record, 6-1 in IVC play, and a 10-0 record at home. The season held its ups and downs, but finished as an overwhelming success and excellent close to a strong junior high career for the class of 2015-2016. Great work and good luck in high school, girls!
