Season Recap:

     The Indians started the year with a home win over a very talented Troy team in a tight battle, but quickly dropped the next three games on the road. The three losses had been roller coaster rides of stretches with great play and stretches of intense struggles. The girls buckled down and rattled off sixteen consecutive wins en route to becoming both IVC regular season champions and IVC tournament champions. The Indians became champions of the conference in dominant fashion. They finished the season with several injuries and fell short of their overall goal of competing in the state tournament. Despite this, the girls managed to defeat three teams they lost to as seventh graders, including eventual state finalist Homer. This was a season marked with massive growth for many of the athletes that are surely signs of success to come in the future. Excellent job, girls!
